A very early video mapping project we developed together with Estado Lateral Media Lab and other friends. Directed by Martin Borini (Ailaviu)
I received an invitation from Ailaviu to create a video mapping projection on the facade of Espacio Fundacion Telefonica.
While I had extensive experience in 3D content and animation, this marked my first attempt at mapping a 3D building.
Leveraging my expertise in developing UVW mapping for light maps in VR and video games, I designed a tool for projecting an unwrapped video over a live 3D model.
This allowed real-time adjustments, streamlining the installation process and mitigating uncertainties.
Though we faced initial challenges, the mapping ultimately functioned seamlessly. The video mapping piece featured music by Leandro Martinelli (Tremor) and collaboration from Lucas DM and Vj Lima.
Simultaneously, another part of the team crafted an interactive video mapping resembling an arcade game controlled through laser tagging.
